University of Debrecen
Doctoral School of Nutrition and Food Sciences
I am a nutritionist who is passionate about research. I have been experiencing both the theoretical and practical sides of clinical trials and data science research deeply, solving predictable and unexpected issues along the way. In my Master's, I developed realistic skills to manage feasible clinical trials within a specific budget and deadline. Over this 2-years work, I have managed a pioneer-research project with chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients on hemodialysis (HD), one of the most challenging populations in clinical nutrition. As a Ph.D. candidate, I have started to explore the “dry science” of nutrition & food science by developing expertise in computational nutrition. In a practical and complementary way to my academic journey, I work as a Nutrition data analyst in the food industry where I design calculation models to analyze nutrition data and prepare reports on our portfolio, also providing data for external surveys (ATNI, DJSI, and IFBA), and performing external nutrition profile comparisons (HFSS, HSR, Nutri-score, Choices, etc). In addition, as a specialist in project management, I apply such skills in my work routine because I believe that outstanding results come from effective project management & teamwork.

I graduated and specialized in Messina (November 2021). During my specialization I became passionate about gastroenterology which I attended assiduously by participating in clinical and scientific activities with participation in studies and congresses. I also attended the gastroenterology department of Gaslini in Genoa for about 9 months where I deepened the notions of parenteral nutrition. Since January 2022 I have been working at the pediatric gastroenterology department of the University of Messina
