​Professor Dominique Cadilhac (PhD, MPH, BN, RN, FESO, FWSO) is Head: Translational Public Health and Evaluation Division, Stroke and Ageing Research, Department of Medicine at School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, Monash University, Australia. She is the Data Custodian for the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health and an NHMRC Senior Research Fellow. She has published over 200 articles related to stroke research.

Professor Bruce Campbell is a consultant neurologist, Head of Neurology and Stroke, Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is a Professor of Neurology in the Department of Medicine, University of Melbourne, an honorary professorial fellow at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health and a fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Science. His research interests are focused on the imaging and treatment of acute stroke and he was co-principal investigator and medical co-ordinator of the EXTEND-IA and EXTEND-IA TNK multi-centre randomised trials published in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2015 and 2018. He is Chair of Clinical Council and a director of the Stroke Foundation and co-chairs the Australian stroke “living” guidelines working party. He has been an inaugural member of the Victorian stroke telemedicine project and chairs the Victorian Statewide Stroke Reperfusion Therapy Committee. He is the co-ordinator of the National Brainschool education program.

Valeria Caso, is a stroke neurologist at the University of Perugia Stroke Unit, Italy and certified full professor in Neurology. She is a former president of the European Stroke Organisation (ESO). She has authored and co-authored more than 300 published papers and book chapters. She has been involved in 20 multicentre trials serving in various positions, including steering committees. She is currently actively involved in international research projects on heart and brain, intracerebral haemorrhage, and acute stroke treatment. She has made a primary interest in the treatment and prevention of stroke in women.

Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center, Hospital Clinic Barcelona, Spain, awarded for Care Excellency during the last 5 years. Professor of Neurology at the University of Barcelona. Corresponding Member of the American Stroke Association and Fellow of the European Stroke Organization. Stroke Fellow at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, USA. Designer and Principal Investigator of pioneering randomized clinical trials studies in Acute Ischemic Stroke, such as RAPID, ESPIAS, URICOICTUS, and CHOICE. Author of more than 250 Original Research papers, many in high impact journals. Mentor of numerous Spanish and International young stroke neurologists.

Dr Chan completed her medical training in NUS, radiology training in SGH and TTSH, followed by neuroradiology fellowships in Houston, Texas, including the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas Children, and Houston Methodist Hospitals. As senior faculty of Diagnostic Radiology, SGH, Neuroradiology service, she has been instrumental in clinical translation of novel and cutting-edge neuroimaging techniques to address patient problems. Dr Chan is a Senior Clinician Scientist awardee, PI and collaborator of multiple national grants, and leads a neuroimaging research lab focusing on chronic neurological diseases. She varied research interests, scoping degeneration, oncology, vascular and inflammatory disorders, and domains of the brain, head and neck and spine imaging. She is a Faculty of the Radiology Resident Teaching Programme, and an Examiner at the MMed-FRCR 2B Exams. Dr Chan has held various administrative portfolios in her department, including Directorships of Research, Clinical Service, Neuroradiology subsection, Advanced Imaging Centre, CME, Film Library, and Welfare over the years. She serves on the MOH research accreditation panel & is a reviewer for numerous prestigious journals and funding agencies. She was the Honorary Secretary of the SRS and current Treasurer of its Neuroradiology Subsection, and Programme Chair of the AOCNR SGCR WIRES 2023.
