Siju. V. Abraham, works as an Associate Professor and Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur, Kerala, India Dr Abraham's, research interests involves the spectrum of coagulation disorders ranging from hemorrhage to thrombosis with important work amongst snakebite and stroke victims. His focused research work has been on factors delaying stroke care in India. Working in a mission hospital, he is currently in pursuit of a PhD in medicine with focused work in developing a regional scoring system to predict mortality and morbidity in snakebite. Dr Abraham is known for his work in hematotoxic snakebite management and prehospital stroke care and is also an active member of the WSO taskforce for prehospital Care (WSOTPC) aiming to improve stroke prehospital care worldwide.

Peter Vajkoczy, MD, PhD is Professor and Chairman at the Department of Neurosurgery and Paediatric Neurosurgery, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany. He earned his medical degree from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and his PhD from the Institute of Surgical Research, Grosshadern Clinic, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. His research interests in neurosurgery include regeneration and repair after stroke, spinal cord inflammation and rehabilitation, and Moyamoya disease. His clinical interests include spine surgery, skull base surgery, and neurovascular surgery. He is a member of the Steering Committee for the German Society of Neurosurgery, Vice President of the Professional Association of German Neurosurgeons, and a member of the Scientific Program Committee for the European Society of Neurosurgical Societies.

Prof. Dr. Wim H van Zwam is an experienced neurointerventional radiologist at the Maastricht University Medical Center, with a PhD in radiology and an MSc in Neurointerventional surgery. He was PI of the MACCA study on contrast enhanced MRA for cerebral aneurysms, co-PI of the MRCLEAN trial and is currently co-P.I. of the MRCLEAN_Late trial (https://www.mrclean-late.nl). He chairs the DSMB of Philips’ WETRUST study, of the InExtremis trials and of the Solonda study and is board member of the European Board of NeuroIntervention (EBNI).

Dr NV Ramani is a neurologist, Raffles Neuroscience Centre, Raffles Hospital, Singapore, and Adjunct Professor, Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore(NUS). He received his MBBS(NUS) in 1983, Masters of Medicine(Internal Medicine)(NUS) in 1988, and Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians(Edinburgh) in 2005. His other qualifications are Fellow Academy of Medicine Singapore(Neurology), Cert Neurosonology(WFN-Neurosonology Research Group, and American Society of Neuroimaging), Masters of Science(Epidemiology)(London), DLSHTM(Epidemiology), and Masters of Health Science(Stroke Management)(Newcastle). He did his stroke fellowship under Dr JP Mohr, College or Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, New York, USA. He is the President-Elect, Asia Pacific Stroke Organisation, and executive committee member of local and international committees, including the founding chair of the Asian Stroke Advisory Panel, and a founding and advisory board member of the Singapore National Stroke Association, Singapore’s national-level stroke support organisation. He is Associate Editor of Cerebrovascular Diseases, Cerebrovascular Diseases Extra, and Neurology Asia, specialty editor (Neurology) for the Singapore Medical Journal, and editorial board member and reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals. His research interests are in stroke, neurosonology, dementia, epidemiology and clinical trials, with more than 350 publications in peer-reviewed journals, 15 book chapters and edited 3 stroke-related books.

Dr. Vishnu VY is currently working as Associate Professor, Neurology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. Dr. Vishnu is a member of the first cohort of World Stroke Organisation Future Leaders Programme. Dr. Vishnu’s research interest in Stroke includes acute reperfusion therapy, post stroke seizures, Cerebral Venous thrombosis, telestroke, machine learning and Primary CNS vasculitis. Dr. Vishnu is the national-PI for the multicentre RCT on role of prophylactic levetiracetam for primary prevention of post stroke seizures. Dr. Vishnu is the PI of the AIIMS Primary CNS Vasculitis Registry which is the third largest PCNSV registry in the world. He is the co-PI for the multicentre SMART INDIA cluster randomised trial. Dr. Vishnu is a co-PI in machine learning project on early diagnosis of stroke in collaboration with IIT Delhi. He is also involved in two Cochrane systematic reviews He is the co-creator of a machine-learning based ios app for neurological differential diagnosis which was subsequently validated in multicentre study. He has received 10 extramural national and international grants as PI or Co-PI. He has 150 peer reviewed publications and have received the AAN International scholarship award, 2015; World Stroke congress-2017 Young Investigator award, and David Sackett award for Health Research methods and Evidence based medicine, St Johns hospital and Macmaster University-2016.
