Pharmacology and Toxicology
I am a PhD research scholar in National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Ahmedabad (NIPER-A) India. My research is focussed on stroke. In my PhD tenure, I have been trained in microsurgeries to generate rat model of ischemic stroke mainly by middle cerebral artery occlusion technique. Apart from it, I can perform essential molecular and biochemical assays to study oxidative stress, comparative histology, gene and protein expression. Till now, I have published five research articles, thirteen review articles, one book chapter, four peer reviewed abstracts and attended eight national as well as inter-national conferences and workshops. In 2019, I have been awarded senior research fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and in 2022, I have received IBRO-PERC travel award to present my research work in FENS Forum 2022 held in Paris, France.
