Scott grew up in Pentland, North Queensland, where he spent his pre-university years on the family’s cattle and small cropping property. In 1994 he graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honors) from the University of Queensland. For the next nine years he enjoyed working in mixed animal veterinary practice both in Australia and the United Kingdom. In 2002 he was admitted by examination as a Member of the Small Animal Medicine Chapter of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists. Scott completed a two-year residency in Small Animal Clinical Nutrition at the University of California-Davis in 2005 and was admitted by examination to the American College of Veterinary Nutrition. After another year on staff at the University of California as a specialist in Small Animal Clinical Nutrition, he returned to Australia. Scott currently works full-time in general practice as a principal for the Ipswich Veterinary Group. He is also an on-line consultant for the Veterinary Information Network and lectures veterinary students at the University of Queensland. He is a very happy father of three and still loves his job. He is passionate about optimizing nutrition for pets in a clinical settling.

Tomàs Camps Morey obtuvo su Licenciatura en Veterinaria, sus Masters en Etología Clínica en Pequeños Animales y en Investigación Animal, así como su Doctorado en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB). Es diplomado por el Colegio Europeo de Bienestar Animal y Medicina del Comportamiento (ECAWBM). Ha trabajado como veterinario etólogo en la Fundación Hospital Clínic Veterinari de la UAB e investigador y docente en la misma Universidad (departamento de etología y bienestar animal) desde 2009 hasta 2017. Actualmente es el director del servicio de medicina de comportamiento y bienestar animal en ETOVETS (Centro de referencia en Medicina del comportamiento en Mallorca España). Es co-autor de los libros “Cambios de comportamiento asociados al dolor” – Servet (ed.), “Manual práctico de etología clínica en el perro”, “Manual práctico de etología clínica en el gato” y del “Manual práctico de etología clínica del perro para ATVs” – Multimédica ediciones veterinarias (ed.). Además, es ponente habitual en congresos tanto nacionales como internacionales y es el presidente del Grupo de Especialidad en Medicina del Comportamiento Animal de AVEPA (GEMCA).

Egresado de la FMV de la UNMSM en 1990. Dedicado a la oftalmología desde el 2000. Residencia y pasantía en oftalmología en Brasil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia y México. Organizador, asistente y ponente en diferentes cursos y congresos en oftalmología veterinaria. Diplomado en oftalmología veterinaria. Docente invitado en diversas facultades de medicina veterinaria del Perú. Miembro de la International Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology (ISVO). Presidente de la Asociación Peruana de Oftalmología Veterinaria (Apovet).

Prof. Chae is currently a Professor at Seoul National University College of Veterinary Medicine, Seoul, Korea. His research field of interest is tick-bone diseases including SFTS (severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome) for interaction among pathogen, vector and host. He started his research career as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Department of Pathobiology at the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine (1995-1997), and moved to School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California-Davis (1998-1999). He became a Professor in Laboratory of Veterinary Internal Medicine at Jeonbuk National University (2000-2005), and was a Visiting Professor in the Center for Vector-borne Diseases at the University of California-Davis (2005), and now a professor at College of Veterinary Medicine at the Seoul National University (2006~present). He has published 31 books or book chapters, 234 scientific papers, and made 260 domestic and international academic presentations. He has received the D.V.M., M.S., Ph.D. degree from College of Veterinary Medicine at the Jeonbuk National University.

Dr Marge Chandler is an independent consultant in small animal nutrition and internal medicine, Clinical Nutritionist for Vets-Now Referrals, Glasgow, and Internal Medicine Specialist for Moorview Referrals in Newcastle. She has a BS from California State University, and a MS (Animal Nutrition) and DVMfrom Colorado State University (CSU). After several years in mixed practice, she did residencies in small animal medicine and clinical nutrition at CSU and Massey University, NZ. She is a diplomate of ACVIM (Small Animal Medicine and Nutrition), member of the ANZCVS (SAM), Chair of the FEDIAF Scientific Advisory Committee, founding member of the European Veterinary Nutrition Educators Group, and Co-Chair of the WSAVA Global Nutrition Committee

Dr. Chávez graduated from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), Lima, Perú. He rececived dermatology training at UC Davis and NCSU Raleigh, Finished a Masters Degree on Infectious and Tropical Diseases in Human Medicina. He was a Dermatology Resident at NCSU, and now is a Diplomate of the LACVD. He enjoys teaching as a Professor of Veterinary Dermatology at UNMSM and Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina. He works as dermatologist at VetDerm (Lima), a referral veterinary specialty hospital. He lectures about alergic skin and ear diseases.
