Mario Cazzola is an Honorary Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’, Rome, Italy, where he was Full Professor of Respiratory Medicine and at the Sackler Institute of Pulmonary Pharmacology, GKT School of Biomedical Sciences, London, UK. His research has mainly be focused on pharmacology of airway diseases, particularly use of bronchodilators and on obstructive lung diseases.
