Francesco de Blasio is Professor of Respiratory Disease, Department of Medicine and Health Sciences "V. Tiberio" University of Molise, Campobasso and Department of Medicine "Federico II" University of Naples, Italy. He is Chief Respiratory Medicine and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Section at Clinic Center Private Hospital, Naples, Italy. During his lifelong history of CHEST membership, Dr. De Blasio covered several positions in the College. He was International Regent for Italian Chapter, Chair, Council of Global Governors and actually covers the role of Executive Committee Member, CHEST Council of Global Governor. His main fields of interest are pulmonary rehabilitation and evaluation of body composition abnormalities in patients suffering from chronic respiratory diseases.
