Lisa Makowski is a doctoral student at the Department of General Practice at the University Hospital in Würzburg, Germany. After finishing her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, Lisa Makowski started to study medicine at the University of Würzburg. In her medical doctorate thesis she is currently investigating general practitioners’ experiences of the COVID-19-pandemic in order to gain insight into how to strengthen Germany’s primary care system in future disease emergence events.

Amy Manten is a Dutch general practitioner registar and PhD candidate at the Amsterdam University Medical Center, location AMC. She obtained her medical degree at the same university in 2019, and gained clinical experience in Internal Medicine (Tergooi Hospitals, Hilversum and Blaricum, the Netherlands) before starting her research in September 2020. Her research concerns the evaluation and improvement of current Dutch telephone triage protocols for chest pain in out-of-hours primary care services, with a specific focus on sex differences and clinical decision rules. In her spare time, Amy Manten stays active with various sports, likes to visit concerts and enjoys traveling.

Dr. Ana Margarida D. Marques, was born in Braga, Portugal and is graduate of Minho University. She obtained her medical degree at Minho University Medical School in Braga. She enroled in the Portuguese College of Medical Association with nº59606 in 2015. In 2018 she became a graduate in palliative care. Now she is attending in the 4th year internship residency in Primary Care at ACES Gerês/Cabreira, Vida+ Unity, Vila Verde, Portugal.
