Pablo Yagupsky, M.D., is Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics and Microbiology at the Ben- Gurion University of the Negev, and former Director of the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory of the Soroka University Medical Center, Beer-Sheva, Israel. Dr. Yagupsky received his M.D. from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, followed by a paediatric residency at the Soroka University Medical Centre, and a fellowship in medical and public health microbiology at the University of Rochester, New York. Between 2007 and 2011, he served as Vice-Dean and Director of the Ben-Gurion University Medical School. Dr. Yagupsky has a long-standing research interest in the epidemiology of human brucellosis and the detection of the disease in endemic areas, as well as the epidemiology, clinical presentation, and diagnosis of Kinglla kingae infections in children.
