Dr. Stercu George Alexandru is a 31 years old “Carol Davila” Medical School graduate, psychiatry medical specialist from Bucharest, Romania and is currently working at “Prof. Dr. Alexandru Obregia” Hospital. Starting April 2021, he is the new member of EPA (European Psychiatric Association) Committee on Education. Dr. Stercu George is one of the medical coordinators of “Prof. Dr. Alexandru Obregia” Vaccination Center. The center is one of the few active since the first phase of the vaccination campaign and is responsible for the vaccination of the medical staff of numerous hospitals in Bucharest. He is the former president of AMRPR (Romanian National Psychiatry Trainee Association) and of EFPT (European Federation of Psychiatric Trainees). In 2018, he graduated the SNSPMPPDSB (National Public Health Management School) Hospital management program. In 2019, he was part of the International Advisory Board for the WASP (World Association of Social Psychiatry), where he helped organize the Young Health Professional Track. In the same year, he was a member of the Early Career Psychiatry Committee of the WPA (World Psychiatry Association) in Lisbon, Portugal.
