Geert Dom, Professor of Psychiatry at the Antwerp University, Belgium. Vice chair of the Collaborative Antwerp Psychiatric Research Institute (CAPRI) and Medical Director of the Psychiatric Hospital Multiversum, Boechout, Belgium. Geert Dom has specialised in Addiction Psychiatry for over 25 years. Het authored and co-authored more than 200 articles and book chapters on the subject of addiction. He is currently also the President of the European Federation of Addiction Societies (EUFAS) and President of the Belgian Professional Association of Medical Specialists in Psychiatry. Within EPA he is a board member and the current Treasurer of the EPA and chair of the section on Addictive Behaviors.
