He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, and Health Care Quality management. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Atrium Health. He serves as the treasurer of the “Society of Hospital Medicine” North Carolina Triangle chapter. He is an editorial board member of Society of Hospital Medicine’s official magazine “The Hospitalist”, Editor-in-Chief of Quality Assurance and Utilization at the “StatPearls” online database publishing peer-reviewed, PubMed indexed articles and review books. He is a Scientific reviewer for multiple peer-reviewed journals including Annals of Internal Medicine, Journal of General Internal Medicine, Academic Medicine Journal, Journal of Preventive Medicine, etc. and has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and actively involved in research and clinical teaching. He is also an investigator/co-investigator of multiple COVID-19 drug clinical trials at Atrium Health.
