Margaret (Maggie) Peinovich serves as a Senior Pharmacy Manager of Operations for Mayo Clinic in Northwest Wisconsin. In this role, Dr. Peinovich has oversight of pharmacy operations across 5 hospital locations inclusive of hospital, oncology, home infusion, retail, infusion therapy and Advanced Care at Home pharmacy practices. Dr. Peinovich began her leadership role in May of 2017 after practicing for ten years in Mayo Clinic as a clinical coordinator and staff pharmacist. Her prior practice areas included inpatient, medication therapy management, oncology, anticoagulation, informatics and retail pharmacy congruently prior to her transition into leadership. Dr. Peinovich received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison followed by completion of a PGY-1 residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Dr. Peinovich is a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents and is an active member of American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), Vizient and Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW). In her free time, she enjoys playing sports and spending time with her husband and 3 young children.
