Suzanne Suggs, is a Full Professor of Social Marketing in the Institute of Public Health and the Institute of Communication and Public Policy at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) in Lugano Switzerland, where she is Head of the BeCHANGE research group. She is Vice-President of the Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+), co-speaker of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences Expert Group on Science Communication, member of the Scientific Committee of the annual Vaccine Hesitancy meeting in Annecy France, and member of the Swiss National COVID-19 Science Task Force. Suzanne is also is a Visiting Reader in the Institute for Global Health Innovation, Faculty of Medicine, at Imperial College London. Her research focuses on health communication, determinants of health behaviours, and strategies to modify health related behaviours; concentrating mainly on vaccination acceptance and hesitancy, eating behaviours, and physical activity.
