Simon Nadel is a Professor and Consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care at St Marys Hospital and Imperial College London since 1994. He has studied presentation, management and outcome of critical illness in children, focussing on life-threatening infections including sepsis and meningitis. Simon has previously served as President of the European Society for Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care. He has been a member of the UK National Institute of Clinical Effectiveness Guideline Development Committees for Meningitis and Sepsis, and the International Advisory Committee of the Paediatric Surviving Sepsis Campaign.
