Mario Noti received his Ph.D. degree in Immunology & Microbiology from the University of Bern, Switzerland. As a Swiss National Science fellow, he performed his postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. From 2014-2019, he was appointed Group Head of Allergy and Immunology at the Institute of Pathology, University of Bern, Switzerland where his research focused on how modern lifestyle choices and associated changes in gut commensal community structure promote allergic inflammation. In 2019, he joined Nestlé Research Switzerland to drive nutritional programs to support host-microbial interactions in the context of infant nutrition and healthy aging. Dr Noti is the Head of Immunology at Nestlé Research and is a member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the Swiss Society for Allergy and Immunology.
