Graduated in Medicine, in 2009 (Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra, Portugal). Completed Internal Medicine specialization in 2016 (Centro Hospitalar São João, Porto, Portugal). In 2017, concluded the PhD project “Systemic Sclerosis – exploring new pathogenic views” (Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto, Portugal, in collaboration with the University of Florence, Italy). Since 2017, working as Internal Medicine Assistant at Hospital Pedro Hispano (Matosinhos, Portugal), being a part of its taskforce on Clinical Immunology and Autoimmune Diseases. Also working as Internal Medicine Assistant in Autoimmune Outpatient Clinic of Centro Hospitalar Tâmega e Sousa (Penafiel, Portugal). Since 2019, Assistant Professor of Medical Practice at Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto, and recently named Coordinator for pre-graduate education at Hospital Pedro Hispano.
