Rheumatology CSTT in 1987. Consultant rheumatologist in University Hospital “Reina Sofia” (Cordoba, Spain) since 1988 to 1997. January 1998 start working in the Louise Coote Lupus Unit, at St Thomas´Hospital first as a Senior clinical and research fellow and since 2003 as a permanent consultant. Since February 2018 till date I work in the Clinica Universidad de Navarra as Head of Rheumatology Department My research has been always focussed in translational research about pathogenic mechanisms in Antiphospholipid syndrome, stablishing a solid link with a group of basic researchers in Spain. Other areas of clinical research include Treatment in systemic lupus erythematosus. I have published more than 110 peer review papers, numerous books chapter and I am regularly invited to delivery lectures on systemic autoimmune diseases in national and international meetings
