I am currently Assistant Professor and Clinician Scientist at the Heart Center Bonn. I work in Clinics and Science focussing on the role of extracellular vesicles as messengers in intercellular communication. Furthermore, I am interventional cardiologist.

Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (2016) and Master's degree in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine (2017) at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine (2022). In 2015 I joined the group of Dr. Cesar Martin where I have been working with reconstituted HDLs for microRNA delivery for atherosclerosis treatment.

Camilla Ditlev Lindhardt Johannesen is an MD and PhD student at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Copenhagen University Hospital - Herlev Gentofte, Denmark. She has a Bachelor of Engineering and furthermore graduated from University of Copenhagen 2018 as a medical doctor. Camilla lives in Copenhagen with husband and daughter. Her research area is within epidemiological studies on lipids, lipoproteins and apolipoproteins related to atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases and death. During the first year of her PhD studies, she published two articles in high-impact journals (British Medical Journal and JACC) and a third article is currently under resubmission. Recently she was awarded a prize for Paper of the Year 2022 at the Scandinavian Atherosclerosis Conference.

HYUNG JOON JOO obtained a M.D. certificate after graduating from College of Medicine, Korea University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in medical science and engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Daejeon, South Korea, in 2011. Since 2013, he has been as an interventional cardiologist at Korea University Anam Hospital and College of Medicine, Korea University and became an associate professor in 2018. His research interests include hospital database management and the development of machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms for clinical applications.
