Intimate partner violence & harmful relationship dynamics impede women’s access to HIV services & use of prevention methods including PrEP. This workshop, designed in partnership with USAID & WHO, will increase knowledge of new global guidance & tools from WHO, USAID, CHARISMA & OPTIONS to accelerate scale up of evidence-informed approaches to integrating IPV inquiry & response into PrEP programs. New results will be shared from a randomized-controlled trial evaluating the effectiveness of the CHARISMA empowerment counseling intervention with women using oral PrEP in South Africa.
