Dr. Vosko graduated 1995 at the Jessenius Medical Faculty of the Comenius University in Martin, Slovakia. In 2001 he obtained the Board Certification in Neurology and in 2008 the Board Certification in Intensive Care Medicine (Austria). His PhD thesis, done as a Fellow of Marie-Curie-Individual-Fellowship of the European Community at the University Clinic of Neurology of Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (Germany) focused on microvascular damage in acute ischemic stroke. Since 2005 heestablished the stroke unit and the neurosonology laboratory and since 2017 he is a Vice-Chair of the Dept. of Neurology at the Kepler University Hospital in Med Campus in Linz (Austria). In 2019 he chaired the 24th Conference of the European Society of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamics in Linz (Austria) and is a funding member and faculty of the traditional Summer School of Neurosonology taking place annualy in Zadar (Croatia). Dr. Milan Vosko has a rich clinical trials experience, he was principal investigator of 7 RCTs (3 of them in the international steering committee). His publication activity covers numerous Pubmed indexed publications, he contributed to the Caplan´s Primer of Cerebrovascular Diseases, 2nd Edition, Chapter: Transcranial and cervical ultrasound in stroke and he gave more then 150 lectures.
