I am Dr. Subash Phuyal. I grew up in Surunga, a small village in Nepal. I completed my MBBS from Nepal (2011), post-graduation (MD) in Radiology from PGIMER, Chandigarh (2014), and Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Interventional Neuroradiology from AIIMS, New-Delhi, India (2019). Presently, I am a Neurointerventionist at UDM-National Institute of Neurological and Allied Sciences (only Biplane Cathlab in Nepal) and Grande International Hospital (one of the biggest hospitals of Nepal). I was fortunate to be involved in treating stroke patients with mechanical thrombectomy during my postgraduation, which was also the time when there was a revolution in stroke management.
