Tereza Koláčná graduated at the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, majoring in Nursing care. Since 1997, she has been working as a nurse. Starting 2007, Tereza has been the head nurse of the Neurological ICU at the Motol University Hospital in Prague. At the Motol Hospital, she is part of the team of auditors for intensive nursing care and a member of the team for chronic wound healers. Since 2005, Tereza has been teaching the subject of Nursing at the 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University and participates in the professional training of students of both medicine and nursing care. Since 2017, Tereza has been cooperating with the Angels Initiative. With their help, she attempts to promote current trends in nursing stroke care in the Czech Republic. In 2018, she co-organized the 1st Congress for Stroke Nurses with a large number of participants. In 2019, together with other nurses, Tereza founded the Angels Nurse Steering Committee, striving to increase the quality of stroke nursing care in the Czech Republic. In 2020, for epidemiological reasons, the first webinar for stroke nurses was organized.
