Ladislav graduated from the Veterinary University in Brno, Czech Republic in 2001, followed by combined residency and PhD in anatomic pathology focused on fish pathology at the same school in 2004. Afterwards he became lecturer and in 2011 Associate Professor of Anatomic Pathology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Brno. Between 2010 and 2012 he completed MSc program in Aquaculture and Hydrobiology at Mendel University in Brno. Ladislav joined British diagnostic laboratory Finn Pathologists in 2013 and successfully passed board exams of Royal College of Pathologists and became FRCPath in 2016. Ladislav is a recognized specialist of Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in veterinary pathology since 2020. His main interest is a diagnostic pathology in dogs, cats and aquatic animals. Ladislav is also a fish health practitioner dealing mainly with koi carps and ornamental fish. Ladislav is a WAVMA certified aquatic veterinarian and Diplomate of European College of Aquatic Animal Health.
