Graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 1994. I worked in the Referral Hospital Ars Veterinaria (Barcelona), where I grew up as a veterinarian. Active member of AVEPA and accredited in Internal Medicine by the association. I have participated in projects such as the launching of the e-learning knowledge platform and in numerous Continuous Education of AVEPA. I worked as an emergency veterinarian at the Ars Veterinaria hospital, and I became in charge of the hospitalization and emergency service. I completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Ontario Veterinary College in 2016. I also worked at the primary health care center at the OVC and as a seasonal lecturer in the internal medicine department. I participated in the study ‘A multicenter observational study investigating care errors, staffing levels, and workload in small animal intensive care units’ published in J Vet Emerg Crit Care in Sep 2020 I have worked as a veterinarian in the Emergency Service of the VCA Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital since 2018. My curiosity and passion for medicine keep me constantly linked to continuous education as a receptor and lecturer. In my leisure time, I enjoy my family and the nature of this country kayaking and hiking.
