Dr. Martín Soberano graduated from Veterinary Medicine with honors (University of Buenos Aires- UBA). It was perfected in France (Maison-Alfort, Paris) and in the USA (Boston). He studied Oncology in human beings for 3 years and later, he developed the area within the School Hospital of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the UBA. He is the first radiotherapist veterinarian in Latin America, authorized by the Atomic Energy Commission to treat animals with high-energy radiation and brachytherapy. Director of the CRABA Oncology Network in Argentina, Chile and Mexico. President of the Latin American Society of Veterinary Oncology (SLOVET) and honorary member of the Brazilian Society of Veterinary Oncology (ABROVET). He published several books: "One Hundred Experiences in Oncology" (2013), "Oncology for all" (2016), "Canine Breast Tumors" (2018) and the recently published, "Skin Neoplasms in Dogs and Cats" (2020). He is a prominent lecturer in conferences around the world, author of scientific papers and associate professor of the Career of Specialist in Small Animal Medicine (Oncology) at the Catholic University of Salta. Teacher in charge of Diplomas in Oncology (CEAMVET, San Jerónimo, Veterinary Updates, among others). And in order to enhance the role of veterinarians and improve the quality of life of animals, it collaborates with the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) and other Latin American Veterinary Associations / Colleges. Since 2021 he has been co-founder and president of the WSAVA Oncology Working (WOW) Group, the first Global Committee on Oncology in the history of WSAVA.
