Associate Professor Le Quang Thong graduated DVM from Nong Lam University (Viet Nam) in 1999 and completed Master degree (2006) and then PhD degree (2009) at the Claude Bernard University - Lyon I; National Veterinary School of Lyon (ENVL), University of Lyon (France). He is Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Nong Lam University Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam (2019-now). In 2017, Dr. Thong was elected as the President of Viet Nam Small Animal Veterinary Association (VSAVA), and he continues to be active in improving veterinary practitioner skills in Vietnam through organization of more than 50 continuing education training courses and workshops (2010-now). He is also a Member of the Standing Committee of Vietnam Veterinary Association (VVA) (2018-now). Now he teaches and does his research in small animal surgery and public health in small animal, especially on gait analysis and goniometry, orthopedic and parasitology. Dr. Thong has broad range of publications including 61 articles; 50 communications in the international congress, 17 in the national congress; 1 book (editor) and 4 chapters in 2 books. He also interested in badminton, ping-pong and volley ball.
