Dr. Ryan Appleby is a veterinary radiologist at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He attended veterinary school and completed a rotating internship at OVC before completing an imaging internship at the Veterinary Imaging Center of San Diego and a residency in diagnostic imaging at NC State. He became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2019. His research interests include the applications of artificial intelligence to veterinary imaging and the role of ultrasound in clinical practice. He is passionate about teaching and provides short interpretation videos released on YouTube on a variety of radiographic abnormalities as well as helps colleagues create and distribute free or inexpensive educational resources for students and veterinarians at obivet.com
