Dr. Saye Clement is currently the co-owner of Carling Animal Hospital in Ottawa, Canada, where she maintains a full patient caseload as well as overseeing Human Resources and Medical Protocol for the hospital. During her career, she has worked in emergency and general practice, and was also a self-employed locum. She has served on the Lecture Advisory Board of the Uncharted Veterinary Conference, and is a member of the Owners Advisory Council for Vet Alliance. Her lectures specialize in Practice Management, with focus in the areas of staff empowerment, culture and the art of communication. In her spare time, she is a member of the Board of Directors for the Thirteen Strings (a small chamber orchestra in Ottawa), as well as volunteering with several other arts organizations in Ottawa.
