Stephen is a multi-credentialed veterinary technician specialist spending the last 15 years in private, specialty practice and academia/research. He has always had a passion for anesthesia and pain management which led him into the field of cannabinoid therapy for animals. He is currently the Director of Education and Development for ElleVet Sciences where he is involved in protocol review and creation for clinical studies and education of veterinary professionals. Stephen is the co-founder for the Veterinary Cannabis Academy and research librarian for Veterinary Cannabis Education and Consulting. He is also the primary editor for a textbook focused on the use of cannabinoids in veterinary medicine being written by over 30 veterinary specialists. Stephen is the author of numerous publications on veterinary pain management, anesthesia and cannabis therapy for animals. To date Stephen has spoken on the topic to thousands of veterinarians and nursing staff at all of the major veterinary conferences such as AVMA, VMX, WVX, Fetch, etc. He has also lectured at the Cannabis Science and Technology Conference.
