Ilgin is a PhD student in the field of knee and hip osteoarthritis at the Department of General Practice at Erasmus MC in the Netherlands. Her research project focuses on healthcare for people with knee and hip osteoarthritis in general practice. Besides research, she works as a physiotherapist in primary care.

Helen is Associate Professor of Primary Care Research and Digital Health lead at the Unit of Academic Primary Care, Warwick Medical School. Helen’s expertise is in use of digital routes of access to general practice, and alternatives to the face-to-face consultation, such as email and video. She is a member of the NHS England Primary Care Digital Transformation Advisory Board and advises professional bodies and NHS organisations in the evidence based use of digital consultations in general practice. Helen leads studies that focus on how digital technologies impact on patients and healthcare professionals in general practice settings. Helen is a health services researcher with a PhD in Primary care research, and a background in public health and anthropology. She is an experienced mixed methods researcher who has particular expertise in qualitative methodology and review methodology.

Aya Ayoub is a family doctor working in an inner-city London practice which serves a diverse and international community. She is Chair of the RCGP Junior International Committee which is organising and hosting the next VdGM preconference in London in 2022. Aya has interests in infectious disease, genomic medicine and medical education. She enjoys teaching, and she tutors with King’s College Medical School and Médecins Sans Frontières. @DrAyaAyoub

Laura Azlor is an economist and statistician specialized in biostatistics and bioinformatics. She is currently finishing a MSc in biostatistics and working as a statistical technician for the Institute for Primary Health Care Research Jordi Gol i Gurina (IDIAPJGol).

Anouk Baghus graduated from medical school at Maastricht University in 2015. She combines her residency in Family Medicine with a PhD research project on training Shared Decision Making in postgraduate medical training.

I am a Physician Associate working in the Emergency Department at Poole Hospital, University Hospitals Dorset in England. Alongside my clinical work, I teach Physician Associate studies at Bournemouth University, which is now in its 3rd cohort of students.

Claire Bamford is a senior research associate in the Population Health Sciences Institute, Newcastle University. She is a qualitative researcher who has contributed to the development and evaluation of a number of interventions for people living with dementia. These have included interventions to improve diagnostic disclosure; interaction in consultations with old age psychiatrists; recovery from falls; end of life care; the diagnosis and management of Lewy body dementia; and post diagnostic care for people living with dementia. She has a specific interest in exploring and understanding the factors which influence whether and how complex interventions are implemented in trials and routine practice.

Bárbara C. Barbosa has a master degree in Medicine from Universidade da Beira Interior. She is currently undertaking her residency in General and Family Medicine at USF VitaSaurium (Soure Health Center, ACeS Baixo Mondego) as well as a postgraduate degree in Clinical Sexology at the Portuguese Institute of Psychology.
