Drª Nilza Tavares, was born in Vale de Cambra, Portugal. She obtained her medical degree at Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Beira Interior, Covilhã. She did one year of general formation at Centro Hospitalar de Entre Douro e Vouga. Currently, she is attending the general and family medicine residency at USF Salvador Machado, Oliveira de Azeméis, and a Masters in Palliative Care at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto.
