After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya with a Second Class Upper Division pass and Distinction in Pediatrics, I successfully completed my internship in Surgery at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka and Pediatrics at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children. Following the completion of internship, I joined the Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo as a Probationary Lecturer in October 2020.
