Michelle Grinman, Canada

Dr. Grinman is a General Internal Medicine specialist with a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and a quality certificate from the IDEAS program in Ontario, based on Intermountain Health Curriculum. She currently works as a General internist and health services researcher at the Rockyview General Hospital, and is the Medical Lead for the Seniors, Palliative and Continuing Care portfolio in the Calgary Zone. Dr. Grinman has a special interest in developing innovative models of care to improve access of vulnerable populations to healthcare services. She has previously developed various humanitarian programs in South America and a quality improvement / capacity-building program to provide proactive palliative care in long-term care homes in east Toronto. In 2015 she move to Calgary, Canada and has led the design of the Complex Care Hub program (hospital-at-home, intensive case management and ongoing healthcare integration) at the Rockyview General Hospital. She is also the Medical Lead for the Seniors, Palliative and Continuing Care portfolio in Alberta Health Services’ Calgary Zone.
