Professor Graham Ellis has been a Geriatrician in Lanarkshire in Central Scotland for 14 years and is a clinician with the Hospital at Home service. He helped establish the service which was the first of its kind in Scotland in 2011. The service has seen around 20,000 patients since it first opened and received a number of national awards. Graham is an honorary professor with Glasgow Caledonian University. He has a research interest in the organisation of acute services for older people. He is currently a clinical advisor in Ageing and Health to the Chief Medical Officer at the Scottish Government He is one of the co-founders of the UK Hospital at Home society which launched with its first inaugural conference in 2020.
