Session Description:
Cognitive impairment associated with schizophrenia (CIAS) has a significant impact on those affected, as well as their care partners and family. Approximately 85% of people living with schizophrenia will experience some level of cognitive impairment and these symptoms are usually amongst the earliest to develop. CIAS can create difficulties in people living their day-to-day life, such as missing doctor’s appointments, or struggling to cook and follow recipes. Overcoming the challenge presented by CIAS could allow people living with schizophrenia to live a more autonomous and productive life.
Lunch boxes will be provided to all session attendees.
