Session Description:
Dear Colleague,
On behalf of the faculty, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to this Janssen-supported satellite symposium at the WCP 2023 congress, entitled Challenges and Opportunities for Different-To-Treat-Depression
The program of this satellite symposium will provide expert advice on how to tackle treatment inertia in major depressive disorder (MDD) and treatment-resistant depression (TRD), and will discuss the factors that should be considered when selecting the most appropriate treatment strategy for the individual patient. The first presentation will describe the challenges clinicians face in treating MDD and TRD, and recommend how these may be appropriately managed to reduce burden and ensure the best possible outcomes for the patient. This will be followed by the journey with an overview of new developments for the treatment of MDD and TRD and the most recent study data for Esketamine nasal spray.
During this satellite symposium we will provide you with our perspectives, but we very much encourage you to actively join the discussion and share the experiences that you have encountered in your daily practice during the panel discussion and Q&A.
On behalf of Janssen and the faculty, we would like to thank you for attending and engaging in this interactive meeting.
Lunch boxes will be provided to all session attendees.
Yours sincerely,
Christa Rados
Chair
