Department of mental health handled COVID-19 outbreak in Thailand by using Policy Combat 4th Wave of COVID-19 Plan: C4 Thailand has strategic plan of Combat 4th Wave of COVID-19: C4 Plan. Rapid implementation of the recommended actions from the C4 plan will be essential to ensure people and societies are better protected from the mental health impact of COVID-19.The COVID-19 pandemic outbreak situation in Thailand which has affected on mental health services. We have state quarantine for people traveling from abroad to Thailand, these people will be in a place provided by the government for 14 days quarantine and mental health service by Mental Health Check-in application to assess stress, depression. This caused lead to New normal Mental Health Services such as tele-medicine, screening via telephone, clinical guideline, Cohort Ward/Isolation Room and development intervention. This session will discuss about the development of the New Normal Psychiatry System from the old normal to the new normal and finally the re-inventing psychiatry system as an opportunity in the future. Suicide Prevention Strategies During the Dark Times of COVID-19. It is still difficult to predict when the trend of higher suicide cases will happen after the epidemic. But it can be predicted that this situation influences the most challenging in Thai mental health problem in 20 years and it is necessary to set a plan for encounter mental health problem in order to cope with situation or long-term impact at lease 2-3 years.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic affecting the Thai public health service system. The Department of Mental Health recognizes the provision of mental health services to reach the public. Therefore, digital technology has been used to serve people such as1. Linebot (by Srithanya Hospital): Medical personnel and general people who are at high risk of mental disorder. They have been received the tele-counselling by a mental health specialist. The Linebot application has to improve into a mental health illness.2. Tele-psychiatry (by Galya Rajanagarindra Institute): is the development of the forensic system of mental health in prisons by early diagnosis and follow up on patient symptoms. At present, Galya Rajanagarindra Institute is performance management in the subject of Tele-psychiatry in prison for the hospital under the jurisdiction. And expand the results to other mental health institutions. 3. Depression Assessment Tools (by Prasrimahabhodi Psychiatric Hospital): Depression is an important contributor to the burden of disease in Thailand. In the past decade, significant work has been undertaken to establish new evidence-based surveillance and care system for depression and suicide in Thailand that operates at all levels of health-care provision nationwide. The main components of the integrated system are: (i) community-level screening for depression (ii) assessment of the severity of depression (iii) diagnosis and treatment by general practitioners; (iv) psychosocial care provided by psychiatric nurses; (v) continuous care for relapse and suicide prevention; and (vi) promotion of mental well-being and prevention of depression in at-risk populations.
