Session Description: This activity is jointly provided by Global Education Group and PlatformQ Health Education, LLC. With an ever-improving understanding of clinical and biological risk factors, treatment strategies for pediatric neuroblastoma have become more tailored based on risk stratification, predicted response, and risk of relapse. However, it is also important to consider treatment by compartmentalizing neuroblastoma and planning in concordance with the perspectives and goals of patients and their families. Join a panel of experts for an in-depth discussion of pediatric neuroblastoma and its treatment across the continuum of care, treatment of bone/bone-marrow and CNS/leptomeningeal metastases, and use of new and emerging prognostic and predictive markers. Experts will also discuss the need to integrate patient and family perspectives into treatment planning to improve outcomes and enhance treatment and side-effect monitoring.
Through the Patient/Family Looking Glass: Perspectives in Treatment Planning by Disease Compartments for Pediatric Neuroblastoma
