Špela Levičnik-Höfferle graduated from Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Study of Microbiology and continued her education with Postgraduate Study of Biological and Biotechnical Sciences at Biotechnical Faculty in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She finished her PhD in Biotechnology in 2012. Since 2013 she has been working for Fotona d.o.o., medical laser manufacturer and is involved in application development, scientific collaborations as well as lecturing and training medical doctors and dentists on the use of laser systems in aestetics, gynecology and dentistry. Since 2017 she is the manager of global educational program of Laser and Health Academy - LA&HA Master`s program in Laser Dentistry.
