Session Description:
In this live and interactive Satellite Symposium, Professor Arnaud, Professor Svenungsson, and Professor Van Vollenhoven will be connecting the dots between several important topics around systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). You will hear a comprehensive evaluation of the unmet needs in the management of lupus, gain insights into lupus pathophysiology with an overview of the most relevant cytokine pathways involved, and learn why and how to consider the patient’s perspective for better disease evaluation and management in daily practice.
After this event, participants should be able to:
• Evaluate the unmet needs and challenges that need to be overcome to improve the treatment of lupus
• Describe the different cytokine pathways involved in lupus and explain the rationale for profiling and targeting these pathways in patients with the disease
• Understand the value of patient-reported outcomes for the management of patients with lupus and reflect how the patient’s perspective can be incorporated into an optimal treatment strategy
Access to this event is restricted to healthcare professionals only.
Connecting the dots: what do we need to know to address the unmet needs in SLE?
