Dr. Nirmalya Kumar Chaki is Manager for Advanced Materials Research Group at MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions (MAES), a global leader in Electronic and Semiconductor Materials. He is responsible for leading a Product Development Team to develop Novel Electronics Ink and Adhesive Product Formulations and applications for Structural and 3D In-Mold Electronics applications as part of New Business Development (NBD) Strategic Initiatives of MAES. Dr. Chaki has been involved in research and development of high-volume manufacturing processes, materials, product formulations and applications related to various metallic nano and micron sized particles, graphene materials and products, soldering products and sintering applications of metallic particles for various electronics assembly and packaging applications. Dr. Chaki has 15 years of professional research experience in various global academic universities, research institutions and in electronic materials industry in India, Japan and USA. He has authored/co-authored 30+ peer reviewed scientific journal publications and inventor of multiple international patents. He has also presented several research papers and posters in various international scientific and industrial conferences. Dr. Chaki received both a Bachelor and Master’s degree in chemistry from Vidyasagar University in India and a PhD in Chemistry from National Chemical laboratory (University of Pune) in India. He is also is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® from Project Management Institute (PMI), USA.
