Biography:
Dr. Mykola Vinnichenko received diploma in physics in 1995 and PhD in physics in 1999, both from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Kyiv, Ukraine. He joined IKTS in 2013 in frame of Fraunhofer-Attract Program to build a group dealing with material degradation issues in materials at high temperatures and in agressive media. His expertise covers, in particular, investigation of the metallic and ceramic film properties modification by millisecond diode laser processing (HPDL) and conventional thermal treatment. Before, he was working for 8 years at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf addressing fundamental mechanisms limiting electrical performance of transparent conductive oxides.
