Dr. Reinhard R. Baumann is Professor emeritus at the TU Chemnitz and the Department Printed Functionalities of the Fraunhofer ENAS in Chemnitz, Germany. His research interests are future applications of graphic arts technologies in digital manufacturing of Smart Objects. Since his engagement in the graphic arts industry he is involved in the R&D of digital fabrication processes, appropriate materials and equipment for the industrialization of printed and large area electronics. Prof. Baumann served on the board of the Organic Electronic Association oe-a and as Vice President of the International Society for Imaging Science and Technology IS&T. He is a fellow of both organizations and of Fraunhofer ENAS.
