Biography:
After receiving my PhD in polymer chemistry from the University of Groningen in 2005, I joined TNO. For several years I studied blue light-emitting fluorene copolymers for OLED applications at TNO Science & Industry in Eindhoven (NL) in collaboration with Philips Research. Hereafter I transferred to Holst Centre and performance research on flexible OLEDs and light management. Since 2017 I am active as a Senior Scientist in the HPE (Hybrid Printed Electronics) program at the Holst Centre on the topics of light management and human machine interfacing in Structural Electronics. My focus is to provide solutions that creates flatter, more flexible, brighter and more homogeneous illumination for automotive applications and consumer electronics.
