Sabbir Ahmed, a Public Health Professional from Bangladesh having more than thirty five years of work experience in public health field the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare of Bangladesh, WHO (in country as well as with international assignment) and INGOs. His expertise primarily includes immunization, newborn and child health arena. He contributed to the development and/or update of newborn and child health policy and strategic documents. He has articles published in international journals, presented paper in national and international conferences. For last ten years, he has been working with Save the Children in Bangladesh for different MNCH projects. At present he is leading a team as the Focal Point of Pneumonia Centenary Commitment Project of Save the Children. He holds an MBBS degree and a Diploma in Public Health.
