Alison McBride is the Chief of the DNA Tumor Virus Section in the Intramural Research Division of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), NIH, USA. Her group studies HPV replication at each stage of the viral life cycle. Her group, in collaboration with the Bioinformatics and Computational Biosciences Branch of NIAID, also hosts the Papillomavirus Episteme, a bioinformatics knowledge resource for the HPV scientific community.
