The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia PediatricsDr. Fiks is a primary care pediatrician, an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and holds a Distinguished Endowed Chair in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He directs the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness at CHOP and the American Academy of Pediatrics national Pediatric Research in Office Settings (PROS) network. Dr. Fiks focuses on improving outcomes for ambulatory pediatric patients through practice-based research with an emphasis on improving health and health care decision-making through health information technology. A major focus of his work has been improving delivery of the HPV vaccine.
