Clara Novo (United Kingdom)

Imperial College London Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction
Clara is a Research Fellow at Imperial College London, where she uses embryonic stem cells to understand how the genome nuclear architecture regulates genome stability and cell-fate. Clara obtained her Ph.D. in Genetics at the University of Leicester. As postdoctoral fellow, she studied the replication and organisation of telomeres at the Institute Curie (France), and the epigenetic alterations of telomeres in cancer at the Institute GIGA (Belgium). Clara then joined the Babraham Institute (Cambridge) to study the three-dimensional organisation of the genome in stem cells and reprogramming.
