Dr Luvero is a gynecologist at University Foundation Hospital Campus Bio Medico of Rome, in Italy. She received a PhD in oncology at the same University last year. She worked as Clinical fellow at UCLH in London in the Department of Oncology for 1 year and she has a strong interest in research and has been involved in several international trials as coinvestigator, authored/co-authored many peer reviewed publications. Dr Luvero is active in gynecological oncology and she is currently the European Representative for the IGCS Council and recently she became the Chair of Advocacy Committee for IGCAN.

Session Description
The goal of the Summit is to engage, educate, and empower gynecologic cancer patients-survivors, caregivers, family members, advocates, physicians, and the public at-large, through educational and awareness programming. Expert speakers from around the world will discuss the need, proven interventions, and importance of gynecologic cancer survivorship. Patient perspectives will also be shared regarding the role of patient advocacy in research and clinical trials.
